Rainworth Village Hall
is run as a charity by a Management Committee consisting of
local residents and Parish and District Council representatives.
Our registered Charity number is 1092122
Our Aims, as stated in
our Constitution are:
"for the purposes of a village hall for the use
of the inhabitants of Rainworth and its environs without
distinction of sex, sexual orientation, age, disability,
nationality, race or political, religious or other opinions,
including the use of the property for meetings lectures and
classes or other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation
in the interests of social welfare and with the object of
improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants."
Anyone who is interested in
furthering these aims is invited to become a Member of Rainworth
Village Hall (download

The Hall is owned by

Rainworth Parish Council.
The Management Committee is
independent of both Councils although there is a representative
from each Council on the Committee.
The Hall was severely
damaged by fire in an arson attack in April 2004 however the
Hall is now fully open following rebuilding and renovation.
